INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to my eBooks and eArticles Website. EBooks and eArticles by Al Barrs is a Website devoted exclusively to research and education on a variety of United States History, Family Histories and other interesting and informative topics. In the eBooks and eArticles posted here I have tried to sort out myths and false information from the honest truth. My focus is telling the truth and exposing falsehoods. I have researched, assembled and written the true facts as shown in period documents within these eBooks and eArticles.

Today we live in an era of revisionism based on ideological driven beliefs by individuals and groups who have for to long liberally revised and reshape our American history to reflect and suit their own self-serving and biased goals and objective. This is why we have sunk to a historic low in the United States. What the people have been told and know is not the truth so they quite naturally repeat and act out what they do know the mistakes of the past that got where we are today in the first place. Only the truth will reverse the downward trend and set us free so that we can get back to making the only nation in world history to be governed by The People focused on the God-given rights of the individual. As often quoted, "Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it" echoes loud and strong across our Nation and the World today. Learn and then write and teach others the truths of history.

Today we live in a World of fantasy and lies about a plethora of subjects. I ask no one to take my word for anything you read here or anyplace else. I do urge you to do your own research using period documents, letters, newspapers and other factual period materials to make up you own individual mind, but do take the time to learn the truth about our nation's history, families and other events that have, are and will impact you and your family's lives in the future.
